Honey Box Live is a live broadcast music show…

featuring original performances from talented up-and-coming local artists filmed in front of a studio audience. Thanks to UKSPF funding the team consulted with the local music community and created bespoke programmes to aid skills development

The Hive

The Hive is an artist development programme, created to help local musicians and creatives build the knowledge and tools they need to grow their careers.

Honey Comb

Honey Comb is where artists come together, share stories, spark ideas, and build real relationships — on and off the stage.

The Hive: Skills, Access and Artist Development

Backed by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and based at King Street Studios, The Hive is already making an impact. A survey of local musicians with over 120 responses allowed them to tailor The Hive programme to specific local and industry needs.

  • Free workshops led by music industry professionals
  • Panel discussions covering everything from publishing to production
  • Opportunities for sound and lighting engineers to train on live projects
  • Presenter roles and shadowing on Honey Box Live broadcasts
  • One-to-one support and tailored advice for emerging artists

The Honey Comb: Community, Connection and Conversation

Honey Comb is a series of regular events designed specifically for musicians and the wider creative community, including:

  • Live interviews with guest artists, hosted by presenter Kez Liddle
  • Intimate Guest Performances
  • Honest conversations about local scenes, industry experiences, and collaboration
